Thanks for the sound words of advice Ian, DD is the way to go.
Paul , having looked at the latest Fiche I think I understand about the bottom end, the cranks must weight a lot more..... yes!!!! Anyway my dad has found two motors, both with CNC barrels and slightly older small cranks, better still we are doing a swap with my old Rotax stuff and some cash, made dad very happy. I must have spent a lot of his pension fund, lucky for me he's six foot six and , what should I say, well built hehe - karts don't fit him. So here's to TKM time, practise next week hopefully.
