Mount the ballast low and securely and I hardly see a problem.

Many of those of us who ARE and WERE fatties would ADORE being in his position of being able to CHOOSE where the weights are placed.

Being hit or trapped by a kart that's roughly 95Kgs is not THAT much different than being hit by a kart that 75Kgs. I don't see this safety thing. My 125 gearbox karts were CONSIDERABLY heavier than yours with 22kgs of ballast.
