Ask yourself this. 1 or 2 years ago you bought a new kart and engine at a cost of a little over £5k and you now are selling for £2k. Yes £2k is reasonable. But beware you can spend similar amounts on a 1 or 2 year old kart and buy vastly different specifications, quality and wear/damage ( not always obvious) for your money. You need to be in a try before you buy situation or be getting a known proven package whatever budget you have. I have seen many sad new owners who have impulse purchased what looks a good deal only to discover they have got a pile of #rap and cost themselves a fortune to put things right. You may pay more from a dealer but most will offer a try option first and you also have the added protection that if they sell it it should work! If not the last thing they need is a bad reputation if they are proper traders. The guy off fleabay is always honest and genuine until you have loaded up your new purchase and driven away leaving your wad of cash, bet he will be worried about bad feedback on his account!. To sum up try to buy local and known or from a dealer it will save you money and pain in the future.
