When rebuilding these typ of motors I would suggest that you get the piston sizing and bore work carried out by someone with experience of this type of engine, ie. BRT, SWRD, Tal-Ko or Grice. Also, I would suggest you also get a new bid-end fitted at teh same time. The rest of the rebuild you should be able to do yourself (seals, mains, etc). Remember, back in that day with these motors we were changing pistons after 20 mins of running and fitting new rods and big-ends after 1 hour!
