A brand new set of Vega XMs every heat and final should do the trick (IKR racing is cheap hey?).

If you're gripping up on the rear coming out of corners whack in a soft axle, add more front grip, carry more speed into the corner, roll the kart round and bring in the power smoothly on the exit. If you can do that right watch the laptimes tumble.
