What I did with our storm before we switched to a lightning is ground off the storms bumper fixing lugs used the clamps AND I used two jubilee clips one each side of the clamps as a fail safe. Had no issues at shenny, whilton, wombwell or pf.
But as for the letter of the law I'm not sure.
