I'm in the middle of building up a Storm for TKM Indiekart, in the past all the storms cracked around the engine area because of the vibration produced by the BT82 engine. My Storm is the later type with upgraded materials/welds. I'm thinking of putting a 2mm thick piece of rubber matting inbetween the base of the engine and the engine mount, also a strip of inner tube along the chassis rails where the mount will sit. Anybody else ever tried this ? Will it work ?
Thanks.
