The 'real' gun-barrel-blue can be replicated but you need to talk to a 'shotgun' specialist. I believe the oil they use is based on Whale oil. You can buy the stuff. Try this page:-

However..... BEWARE.... That's a non-standard finish for TKM and I think it may be in breach of the TKM rules about the colour of your exhaust!
