Just changed the main bearings having put the crankcase halves in the oven and now the crankcase halves look horrible. The oil has seeped to the surface and has baked itself onto various areas on the inner crankcase halves. I've had this happen in the past, is there anyway of preventing this happening and more importantly is there a way of cleaning them up?
