I second most of that, but know people that have had problems with the Rotax oil. Use the Shell M in mini initially following an engine build, to build up carbon which the mini likes, but make sure your squish and combustion capacity is still legal, the scruits can help you with that. Don't run on castor too long, say 5 hours on castor then swap to syn at the std mix 50 to 1.
148 jet (at this time of year) and concentrate on kart set up and driver to start with as advised.
