As far as I can make out from the posts and club website - the owners of the circuit and the "club" are seperate entities, with the "club" organising the MSA events until this point on behalf of the owners.

The "club" consists of the officials, admin team etc. along with some of the neccesary equipment to hold the events including the MSA permit needed for holding MSA sanctioned events

Now the owners have apparently dismissed the club from their role and are taking over the competitive running at the circuit themselves.

As such, WMKC the entity no longer functions and according to their website are refunding memberships etc. to those who were planning on 2013 - it may be the owners intended to organise their own club championship but this would have to be organised separately

Whilton was originally slated for the 2013 Rotax S1 opener too, but in light of what has transpired this has been withdrawn and given to Wigan instead

There's a statement on the Whilton club website explaining their position - I'm sure more details will come to light in the club paddocks in the new year
