Thanks John, much appreciated. The carb in question is eleven years old and I have no history on it. I didn't want to inadvertently undo a builders' set up if this was deliberate.

I guess this was just down to the capability of Dellorto's assembly process.

I’ll go in the garage and align it correctly now, but will keep a record of where it was before just in case it performed better!
