I'm not saying I agree with that rule, but the Clubman series is supposed to be a fun kart event for less serious wallets.

preventing winners from competing again is to try and stop the same winner year on year and encorage the participation from people with smaller budgets, much like an entry series into racing.

i think the rule should be removed and that the championship enherantly encorages sportmanship where people are there to have fun rather than use it as a stepping stone to become a professional driver.

it is also mentioned that you can be considered to stay in the series if requested when you win.
