I know about Lister-Petter. Been around forever, and a mate at UCLan is currently converting one of your singles to a very bizarre old cross-head design as part of a research project.

Funnily enough I'm just taking up my first non-motorsports job in many years. The market for engineering graduates has changed radically in the last 2 years here in the UK. I'm constantly staggered how big the demand for UCLan motor sports engineering graduates has become. Nearly all are getting really good start salaries, and lots in F1, WRC, Sports Cars, aerospace. Haven't been able to find enough students to fill half the placements available most years, and they are ALL paid, some over Ł20K a year.

If you ever find you want to come back, ignore the media, there's work available.

I'd guessed Ian is a nice guy. Hope to meet him one day.
