Having run both my boys through Minimax with one of the large teams this is how we used to run. Only ever used an IW24 plug as the mini engine doesn't get hot enough to warrant anymore. Gap it to 1.2mm in the dry, 1mm in the wet. We used Shell M Castor oil with the fuel.
Don't worry about getting over 12K on the revs as the power drop off is quite large.
