Yes, could well be a spark plug issue. If you get the insulator wet they often won't fire at all. I tend to use brake cleaner followed by a blast of compressed air to make sure they are fuel and oil free.

Once you've run it in, the problem will most likely never recur unless you manage to flood it while starting.
