Can't answer the question but I'm pretty sure the V-clutch is only used on the TAG engine. If you wanted a clutched engine with offboard starter then you'd have to ask about the Horstman clutch.

All our engines are DD and both my lads moved from cadets into JTKM on DD's with no problems. I'd personally recommend DD over clutch.
