Karl,

I don't understand your problem. Most of us get injured by the kart seat. Padding can help... so....

1) Buy a kart seat (un-carpetted or un-lined) that's slightly too large for you
2) go to a camping shop and but a camping bed roll of firm-foam
3) Go to Hlfoprds and buy black (or whatever colour you prefer) Gaffer/Duck/Duct tape (whetever you call it
4) With decent scissors or Stanley knife, cu the foam, slowly work through building up layers of foam padding where you are too loose in the seat and leaving the others areas bare. When you have it pretty close, tape polythene sheet over things and try to sit in and see if it feels good.
5) Adjust the shape and number of the foam pads iuntil it DOES fit you properly
6) Finally, use your tank tape to tape it permanently to the seat to cover ALL the foam and thus make it water-tight and prertty robust.

Take the foam and tape with you to your next pratice session so you can re-shape the work until it fits PERFECTLY.

Job Done!

Ian
