To answer your earlier question directly Farrang, you can set perfectly reasonable lap times on an old TKM specific 30mm axle chassis on the new rubber. In the 2010 S1 season a couple of people still used them to great effect against mainly CIK opposition.

I would personally run the front wider than was usual on the old rubber, and run the back on very long twin bolt hubs overhanging the end of the 30mm axle by some 20mm each side.
