I thought people might notice the slight 'tongue in cheek' that I was employing in my posting..... but obviously not.....

I actually DO believe that manufacturers THINK they 'evolve' their chassis after careful thought. However, I suspect the best most manage is improvement-by-trial-and-error. They alter this measurement by +5mm or +2 degrees and another by -5mm or -2 degrees. Their 'works's drivers report that X is better than Y and they chose the X model as the one they sell.

I can't help it but is still DO believe that the good, concientious ones get it right more often than they get it wrong.

Even at my great age, I trust MOST people to do an honest job and that includes most kart manufacturers. Others TRY to do an honest job but just fail. A small selection downright LIE about it! I am NOT naming hose who I think fit into ANY of the categories....

It's hard to believe that there are MORE 'jaundiced' people than me out there!
