Another day, another Formula Blue rebuild!

Thinking of switching to TKM. Talking to a couple of guys at Hooton today who had the DD versions. DD doesn't appeal to be honest, hence Formula Blue at the moment but want something more reliable with less to go wrong but don't think I want to go down the 4 stroke route.

Thinking of a clutched TKM with remote start. This might be a daft question, but, if like today I was on my own I assume you'd be able to start the TKM whilst out of the kart then jump in and go?

Also, do many TKM drivers do their own rebuilds? Any alternatives to TKM worht considering KF3s etc?
