nope ian, you miss my meaning

anti-freeze is an additive to coolant to stop it freezing

coolant additive is what is used to describe a sustance to increase the cooling abilities (say added to water)

an anti-freeze only component usually increases the viscosity and decreases the specific heat,
so water is better than water with anti-freeze

which i think is what rendall was getting at

65 is what the handbook says.

you are confused again. i used to race in tkm. i dont claim to race rotax or to ever have done so despite having one in my garage.
