You cannot just bolt it on, although I agree it is a good idea you have a few issue,

1) Definantley used to the case that the Japanese manufacturers where not prepared to supply just bike engines in bulk
2) You will need to modify the engine to work on a kart as it is designed for very diferent running. Having used a CR125 I know that you cannot used a std CR125 conrod in a kart situation you need to fit a Honda RS125 kart engine.
3) Service hours - are they longer really?
