Firstly let's not let this thread turn into another Honda/Comer argument as both classes have their pros and cons. Both Comer, iame/parilla and lenzo have engines that may? fit the MSA's criteria all of which are super cadet engines but they would need a restrictor like the B5 had. If the MSA adopted ONE of these engines it would give the super cadet class more appeal and a huge boost that it really needs, I've always said It's a great idea, just badly thought out. However it comes down to two things cost and timing, we cannot ignore the currant economic climate the country is on the bones of it's asre as are many people. Their will never be a good time to change from the w60 especaly now but you will always have the.....But I paid £XXXX for this engine and now it's worthless scenario and that is unavoidable, but the switch from the s60 to the w60 was much more affordable as the engine's could be converted hence the GB and UK stamps.
It's going to be a tough one whatever happens.
