Errr..... Earth calling Paul..... Earth calling Paul.....
'Excel comes free with laptops'.
Do you know a LOT about Microsoft.....? Clearly NOT! Look up the meaning of the concept of 'ad-supported' and you just MIGHT be able to comprehend why it's NOT 'free'. It will be worth looking up the 'limitations' on the 'free' copy, too.....
Secondly..... I will be FULLY happy to accept your point..... once you HAVE MANUALLY (note that word) collected sufficient data 'points' from a whole LAP.... (let alone a whole HEAT or MEETING....) so that you can use the acceleration rate to calculate the BHP at EVERY METRE of the track. The data you need is the exact revs at each 1/10th of second for one lap. At Rye House with (let's guess) a 35 second lap time... that's only 350 data 'points'. With your FANTASTIC skill and knowledge...... and speed of WRITING: it'll be easy for you.......
Obviously, writing down you exact revs 10 times a second is NOT a problem for YOU and wouldn't affect your ability to concetrtate on the RACE to be manually RECORDING that data...... oh no..... However, as you DON'T race.... you wouldn't know that, would you, sonny!
Obviously, you are a little bit 'Spesh...' (in many senses of that word.....) so..... I'll add to your fun. When you HAVE manually recorded that data and entered it into your 'FREE' copy of Excel and done the calculations and drawn the 'graph' there from.... I'll send you a bottle of Champagne and explain the NEXT challenge where you only need a pen and paper.... ! Please note, you need to record this 'data' WITHOUT recourse to datalogging other than your pen and paper.....
It's clear that you know as much about 'data collection' as you do about karting!
