I remember a few years ago that the MSA was considering limiting the amount of ballast that could be mounted on any kart. There were worries about cadets and small juniors fitting up to 40 kg of ballast.

In part the Formula Blue restrictor system was designed to meet this idea, no driver carries more than 10 kg.

Could this be a sign that the MSA are going to implement ballast limits in future?
