The French are telling everyone that the output is 7HP roughly the same as current UK cadet engines. Is this incorrect? It's a lot less than the IAME Gazelle for example that is nearer 10HP and was seriously considered for a class starting at 7 years old.

The French are very proud of the fact that their kids have the fastest karts in Europe.

But who wants to pay nearly Ł2000 for a kids kart engine?
