Hi there had similar issues with mine, before shelling out for a mychron pull back the black rubber covers behind the silver ends of the plug and check that the outer copper wiring has not come away from the plug this acts a screen to prevent interference it has detached from mine causing the problem Ł12 for a new lead job done!
