Yes, my apologies, I used the word club loosely to mean the whole hosting organisation of track, club and association.

There's no practice in the 4 days of the week prior to race Friday by the Championship rules, so the best 'extra' opportunity for competitive experience is the club race on the 9th,( entry by the 1st?)
