The rules are you have to use one of the following spark plugs, all being Denso.

Ambient temperatures.

Below 0 Deg. C. = IW22
0 ~ 10.5 = IW24
10.6 ~ 18.8 = IW27
18.9 ~ 24.4 = IW29
24.5 ~ 30 = IW31

So in due course with the correct plug in you should achieve the optimum running temps. for your engine.
