i thought you had read the whole thread raceinstructor but obviously not

the s/w gives you a point only based on a single calibration point.

if you included more calibration points (ideally spaced out along the air density range) you would obtain a better match. each engine/carb/exhaust setup will have its own characteristic

hence my original advice to greenman

at no point have i said to 'guess'

a black box may help you out if you dont understand what it going on but eventually you should tackle the subject (or dont engineers bother with karting anymore?)
