You dont have to be bang level, its also virtually impossible to go at an identical speed.

What the lad did was to EVER SO SLIGHTLY and LEGALLY keep his nose behind the leader. Then after they crossed the yellow line the lights changed to green and he reacted sooner than the poleman.

What are you suggesting? is no-one meant to try to overtake or put themmselves in a position to out manouvere anyone else at the start?

The poleman got mugged off, end of. Russell has said he treid to get himself into a position to do that, and he succeeded. Well done to that man!

I remember before it was stopped being allowed, HAMMERING up to the lights on pole, stamping on the brakes just before the line to make the P2 man and the rest of the back up, then HOOFING it off up the road. Burn me alive!

Karting is just so full of whiners and moaners. No wonder its in decline. People used to just race to enjoy themselves, not anymore. "If I'm not winning it because everyone is cheating and jumping starts blah blah blah". Yawn.
