Also look into import duty that you have to pay on taking a new engine to Australia. Depending on what tarrif you chose depends on how much import tax you pay. Might be worth looking at this first, as it my be cheaper to get your engine from Austalia. Also it might be worth buying a short engine and putting in your suitcase to avoid the tax this way.
