My first thought, is whats wrong with your existing ring? You've just spent goodness knows how many hours running that ring into your bore......so now they're an exact fit/seal! As a result of this running, your bore is probably no longer perfectly round, and you want to put a "one size fits all" ring into it! And you expect a perfect, gas tight seal??
