I definately would advise you not to do this.

The TKM DD will just be too fast for her and might put her off completely. Also with a DD, when she spins (which is what newbies do a lot), then every practice session will be cut short, further killing her and your enjoyment.

Kids this age need a clutched kart. Agree the Honda cadet route is what you should be thinking about and it's the most cost effective class in karting.
