Alex,
I interpret your question to mean
"Are there any Owner/Driver karts which one can buy which are comparable to the Arive and Drive karts of Club 100 and D-Max.?"
The answer is 'Yes, but..."
The "but" is that one can do an awful lot of arrive and drive for simply the cost of an owner driver kart.
For example: at £135 per event on could do the entire Buckmore Park Elite series (8 rounds, club 100 karts) for the price of a cheap second hand TKM kit.
However, you could also do a lot more comparable karting on your own kit (ie, you were using hard tyres and not caning the engine) for little more than the price of the fuel and the £40 per day circuit fee.
However, if you wanted to race competitively, then you would need to do at least one practice session per race and buy 4 sets of tyres for racing on over the year. (thats about £150 a time). You would also find that you might want to have your engine rebuilt as well so it was as fast as everyone else's.
In other words, you might get a lot more karting but it would be a lot more expensive.
And.... I haven't seen anyone who would hire out a Club100 type kart for practice, they all seem to be used for events only. Most Practice seems to be done on Prokarts etc.
So, if you want to drive a 100cc type kart for a lot of practice, it looks as if you have to get your own. If all you want to do is a limited number of races only, then you can hire and drive.
