Hi Alex, just clocked your email so will reply in a bit but the majority of 2 stroke owner driver karts that you can buy will not only be on par with but faster than the hire karts.

The performance increase will also come from being able to tune the engine far more than you can with a hire kart. For example you could try out 3 different carbs and one may be faster but with a hire kart you have just the one that is on that engine.
