the point of getting drivers to marshal is not to turn them into marshals, just appreciate what marshals do for them, why they make certain decicions etc and see racing from the other side of the fence...i race AND marshal, ive always believed that doing one, helps me with the other. being a marshal helps my driving, because i can watch people, see their lines, braking points, racecraft etc which i can replicate on track as well as spotting flag points, appreciate what to do when marshals are recovering vehicles etc. being a driver, helps me marshal because i can see where the line is between racing incidents, dangerous driving, etc...they both compliment eachother.
