Before the change of tyres used in TKM at start of 2010 the Jtkm was slower than minimax. With the increased grip they are now around .75 sec quicker. Check lap records for 2010 at different clubs.
Another thing to consider, was the JTKM running as race legal with appropriate restrictor and weight. Removing the restrictor from a JTKM engine does have a significant effect.
