I agree with everything you said - if someone has done something offensive outside the racing time then I could see it would be reasonable for the club/ circuitowner/landownwer to take some sanctions. I would have thought that any assault on a staff member for example would result in police attendance.
is it right though to punish people twice though ? once with a club sanction and then report to the MSA for them to deal with - am only asking the question not because I would definitely think that was unfair . I think it may depend on the circumstances of the offence and the people involved.
We have gone a bit off track in this thread haven't we ? By the way the people involved in the lap record were not involved in anything else that went on - on track or off track - just so we are clear - wouldn't want anything to take the shine off that as it is the first time one of my lads has laid claim to a circuit lap record . LOL
