From what i understand the TAG's were slower to start with but this was sorted with a re-design of the ignition - I think. But in all honesty i would just buy a D/D - Starting them's a doddle and your daughter/son will get the hang of it in no time. Plus there's no electrics to go mess around with or to go wrong. You just cant be Direct Drive :) Thomas.........
