a bent stub could be causing it.

another thing that springs to mind is to check your calcs by turning the kart 180 degs and see if the same readings appear.

here's what I found when testing a spare chassis recently...

the load was applied using a 6ft scaffold tube and the spring back was apparent when the load was applied without a jolt.

Searching for other chassis straightening vids I only came up with one and they were shock loading the corner by jumping on it.
