Alex , i assume your quite young , i'll try not to sound to patronising in what i say but excuse me if it come across like it

I have raced 4 stroke karts and had a blast , 2 strokes from the original aircooled to rotax max , saloon cars of varying makes to single seaters , i have even had a go at stock car racing .

I would suggest your best bet is to go and test the Dmax for yourself , like all racing you will get polarised opinions on anything and everything

i came back to karting in 2006 from circuit racing and enjoyed it far more , its alot slower , and some see it as not carrying the kudos , however the older you get the more you will realise you work hard for your money and if your gonna spend it on fun ,it may as well be the best fun ever ....

i am sure you will enjoy whatever you choose , but my advice ,choose the one you can afford to do most of , as like drugs you'll always want more !!*

* this was not an advacation of taking illegal substances which is very very bad and nothing like motorsport (i am told )
