As my son has out grown his Honda Cadet I'm now looking to get him a Minimax. At the moment he does not race, so just fun on practice days. We have a budget of £1200-£1500 for kart and engine. Suspect best route due to numbers on sale is to get a senior kart and fit the Mini barrel etc and mod the kart to fit him in. Any advice on what to check for? I do all the Cadet myself OK at most things on the mechanical front. When we bought the Cadet we ended up with too older chassis for him to race etc and don't want to make the same sort of basic errors again.
