The Vodafone DMAX karts are 22bhp. They do not have corporate chassis. They have Birel chassis. However they are heavier than owner driver race karts as they have full wrap around bumpers and carry electric start/battery etc.

They are not designed to compete with owner driver rotax max etc. they are designed to offer a fast, exciting arrive&drive option for those who like to turn up, sit in a kart, push the start button and then go racing.

At 5 seconds a lap faster than a prokart around Daytona Sandown Park (45 second laptime), I am sure all would agree they offer a very different experience to prokarts.
