You have not said what class you are thinking of racing in national events and that could make quite a difference to your costs.
For all national event the travel/hotel/kart transport/awning/tools/generator type of expense are going to be similar.
The main difference is that with Easykart you have practice on Saturday and race on Sunday except fot one double-header each year when racing is on Saturday and Sunday with a practice on Friday. With the other national series - FKS/S1 - most people tend to practice on Friday and so you could have extra hotel costs or team/mechanic fees if you are not self-sufficient.
With easykart you are only allowed one chassis and one engine and so can not get sucked into the `silly money' situation with some other classes.
If you are buying new then the Easykart prices for a ready-to-race kart are:-
Cadet Ł2000 + VAT
Junior Ł2300 + VAT
Senior Ł2495 + VAT
Then you will want an extra set of rims for your wet tyres at about Ł100. Race fuel is normal pump fuel.
Entry fees are about genrally lower at Ł80 and you do not need a camera or data logger (depending on class).
You can also do a national series like NKRA where the rounds are held as part of club meetings and thast would be cheaper than FKS/S1.
To give any indicative costs for FKS/S1 you would need to say what class you are interested in.
