No trick..... just watch the QUICK boys..... mid corner, the steering WILL be 'dead-ahead'!

What you are aiming for is the following:-

1) B...r...a...k...e... and turn in with a SINGLE movement of the wheel.
2) The moment the tail has stepped out to make the kart facing EXACTLY tangentially to the corner, bring the steering to dead ahead and HOLD it there while balancing the kart ONLY using the throttle.
3) Move to FULL throttle as soon as poss WITHOUT forcing the tail out.
4) exit the corner with as small amout of steering 'unwind' as possible.

That really IS how it's done!

Don't copy those who are all 'teeth and elbows', they LOOK quick..... but are plain SLOW! Those with the lowest lap times, do NOT waggle the wheel!

The skill of those guys is knowing EXACTLY what speed will provoke those conditions in EVERY corner. That and the ability to set-up the chassis to make that possible.

Remember, everytime you turn the steering wheel away from Dead-Ahead, you SLOW the kart!
