Back in the days of racing 100cc at 18000rpm we always used the highest octane we could find, I carried on with this principle when my grandsons start in Comer only to be told that because the compression ratio was so low high octane fuel was a waste.
We have been using a lower octane for the last six months and have not seen any drop in performance.
