The old chestnut. A good motor is a good motor regardless of year of barrell just a a bad motor is bad! If anyone was able to look at a barrell and say this one will be good or bad the everyone would have a good motor.
The fact is that it is simply impossible to tell. An 09 marking is just as likely to be poor as any other. True that since the introduction of CNC machineing for motors after 08 the bad ones are few and far between but it does not make them all good.
