Only an authorised Rotax sealer can seal a Max engine. So even if you had it built by some other engine builder, it would still have to be stripped and measured before they would seal it.

My first rebuild was at 35 - 40 hrs but then I had the conrod replaced as well.

Its done about 15 hours since then and is still pulling strong.
